An AI-generated image of me, RebelBikerDude, posing with some colourful cephalopods; image created by RebelBikerDude from an original photograph of himself, using Grok X1
Earlier today I spotted on X (formerly Twitter) an option permitting its AI image-generation program Grok X1 to produce random images based entirely upon a member's X profile photograph, with no verbal prompts required from the member. Here is my X profile photo, a cryptozoology-themed one that depicts me in my usual biker gear sitting up close and personal alongside a very impressive model of a colossal cephalopod or, more specifically, a giant octopus:
Very intrigued to see what images Grok X1 would generate from this sea monster scenario photo, I duly clicked its Draw Me button - and here is a very diverse but extremely entertaining selection of the pictures that resulted, inspired by all manner of influences, and thus containing many different (and sometimes quite startling!) AI alter egos of me. I particularly like the bizarre example portraying me sitting in a field next to a multi-tentacled octopus lady - seriously strange!
More of my AI-created biker images next time!
